SALEM, NH - Ronald R. Smith 71 of Salem, NH and formerly of Hampstead, Maryland, died Saturday April 3, 2010 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.
Born in Carmichaels, PA he was the son of Oscar C. and Emma (Murdock) Smith. During the Vietnam he served in the United States Air Force received the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged. He was a computer engineer with Wang and Honeywell and was also a self employed wedding photographer and landscaper. He was a founder and president of the Camera Club of New England, enjoyed sailing, landscaping, photography, reading and computers, was an organic gardener, avid jogger and was a member of the Lawrence Cyclist Association.
The widow of Claire B. (Jacques) Smith, he is survived by his children, Stacey E. Smith and her fiancé Dennis K. O’Sullivan of Salem, NH, Jaimison S. Smith and his wife Kim of Pelham, NH
Brothers James V. Smith and his wife Hilda of WA and Rev. Errol Smith and his wife Joy of Maryland.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00a.m. – 12:30p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral service will follow at 12:30p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at the families convenience.
