PAPPAS Nicholas Age 86 in West Roxbury, April 8, 2010. Nicholas passed away surrounded by his loving family in his home. Beloved husband of Rose (Karys) Pappas for fifty years. Father of Pamela Pappas-Clarkin and her husband Michael of Newington, New Hampshire, Valerie Erdekian and her husband James of Wayland, John P. Pappas and his wife Cathryn of West Roxbury and Peter C. Pappas of West Roxbury. Brother of Demetra, Mary, Urania and the late Petroula, Angeliki and Constantinos. Loving grandfather of Alexandra, Elena, Nicole, Olivia and Nicholas. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Nicholas came to the United States from Greece in 1959 and soon started his own appliance business, Harrison Refrigeration and Stove Supply in Boston. Following his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a man whose greatest treasure was his loving family. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, on Tuesday, April 13th. at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Service in The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Parker and Ruggles Street, Boston at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery.
