Grandfather of Keith, Scott, Bryan and Evan McFarland and Marjorie, Nora and Aidan Connolly and great grandfather of Fiona, Erin and Claire McFarland. Brother of the late Elizabeth (Brown) and Joseph.
Longtime Suffolk County Court Officer, Deputy Sheriff of Suffolk County and was an official in the Office of the Jury Commissioner, where he was instrumental in the creation of the state’s one day/one trial jury system. World War II Veteran, U.S. Army.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., West Roxbury, Monday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church, West Roxbury, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation prior to Mass from 9:30-10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
