WORCESTER: Ann (Harootunian) Broomfield, 82, of Stafford Street, died Wednesday, April 7 in The Meadows of Leicester.
Her husband Eli F. Broomfield died in 1981. She leaves two sons Raymond F. Broomfield and his wife Kathy of Palm Coast, FL, Randy W. Broomfield and his wife Donna of Leicester, two daughters Judith A. Broomfield-Shocik and her husband John of Cherry Valley, Bonnie L. Orsi and her husband Robert of Spencer, ten grandchildren; Nurse Kimberly, Tammy, Lisa, Raymond, Eric, Jonathan, Kimberly, Derek, Jillian and Bethany, four great-grandchildren; Jaycob, Amaya, Jonathan & Emma-Lee, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Broomfield was born in Worcester daughter of Toros and Yegsa (Elby) Harootunian. She was a longtime member of the former Bethany United Christian Parish in Worcester. She enjoyed square dancing for many years. She was an administrative assistant at Hanover Insurance Co. in Worcester before retiring in 1992.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 10 at 9:00 AM in the First Congregational Church of Worcester, 1070 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday, April 9, from 4:00-7:00 PM in MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester.
