Michael’s carefree spirit, contagious smile and warm heart graced the lives of those who knew him. He was a devoted son, brother, grandson and friend. Michael dedicated each day to his love of adventure, travel, and history and had recently returned from a semester studying abroad in Australia and New Zealand. He was an active brother in Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, where he was a senior majoring in history with a minor in political science. The scholarship fund will benefit Phi Kappa Theta brothers wishing to continue their education. Calling hours will be held Friday April 9th from 4-8 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston MA. A Funeral service will be held at 10am Saturday April 10th at Pilgrim Church in Duxbury MA with a burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Kingston MA.
