Beverly Ann Peters, age 71, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 following an extended illness. Mrs. Peters was born on January 4, 1939 to the late William Benjamin and Luetta Louise Messing Fox. She was the widow of John Roy Peters, Jr. and she was self employed. Mrs. Peters was a member of the First Community Church. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Survivors are: sons: Jeffrey (Ann) Aaron Peters, Douglas, GA, John Benjamin Peters, Niagra Falls, NY; brother, Ronald Fox ; sister, Shirley Gerg, Hemet, CA; grandchildren: Theresa Louise Peters, Wendy Louise Peters, Heather Smalley, Christopher Smalley, Cordelia Hines and Craig Smalley. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
