Anna A. (Polletta) Mastro of Wellesley passed away on April 3, 2010 after an illness. She was 90.
Mrs. Mastro was born in Amesbury and moved to Wellesley after marrying her late husband Michael A. Mastro Sr. She was a stay at home mother caring for her three children.
Mrs. Mastro was a member of the Italian American Educational Club. She was active in the Brownies serving as a leader for many years. She was also active assisting with the Girl Scouts for many years. Mrs. Mastro was the wife of the late Michael A. Mastro Sr.
She is survived by her children Michael A. Mastro Jr. and his wife Barbara of Wellesley, William A. Mastro and his wife Sharon of Punta Gorda, FL, Victoria A. (Mastro) Allen and her husband Scott of Sutton; grandchildren Jason Mastro of Punta Gorda, FL, and Janelle Holder of Punta Gorda, FL; great grandchildren Corey, Jesse and Jalen Holder all of Punta Gorda, FL; brothers William Polleta of Wellesley and Michael Polletta of East Kingston, NH; sisters Dora Nicolai of Wellesley and Loretta Stuart of Amesbury. She was the sister of the late Pasquale Polletta, Philomena Tedoldi, Nicholas Polletta and Mary Fusco.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) WELLESLEY, Saturday, April 10, at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday from 3-7 PM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
