Joyce O. (Ordway) Hale, 79, of Salem, NH died Sat. April 3rd at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.
Joyce was born in Bow, NH the daughter of the late Ava (Lewis) and Norman Ordway and grew up in Milford, NH graduating from Milford High School. She lived in Salem for over 50 years before moving to Barefoot Bay, FL and returned to Salem 4 years ago. Joyce was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, skiing, playing Scrabble and golf. She enjoyed arts and crafts especially knitting and crocheting. Joyce loved traveling and enjoyed many summers at Concord Point in Rye, NH.
She was predeceased by her husband Warren “Chip” Hale and her sisters Helen Duffy and Norma Blanchard.

The Funeral Service will be Thurs. April 8th at 11AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will be Saturday in Vermont.
Calling hours will be Wed. April 7th from 4 -8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home.
