Kristin E. Graci 21, of Franklin, died Saturday April 3, 2010 at home with her family by her side following a 2 year battle against leukemia.
Born January 15, 1989 in Framingham, the cherished daughter of Bradley W. & Rita M. (Dwyer) Graci, she was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Kristin was educated in Franklin schools, and was a 2007 graduate of Franklin High School. She also completed her freshman year at Arizona State University despite her leukemia diagnosis in March of 2008. She was pursing her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner and was to begin the nursing program this fall at UMASS Dartmouth.
She enjoyed a lifelong love for softball and was a member of the FHS Varsity Softball team for 4 years, where she was captain for her junior and senior years and led the team to 2 Hockomock League Titles.
Kristen loved life, her family, friends and going to the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was the loving sister of Justin W. Graci of Franklin, maternal granddaughter of Edward & Rita (Nelligan) Dwyer of Millis, and paternal granddaughter of Robert & Jacqueline (Horne) Graci of Millis. Also surviving are many cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday April 8th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.franklinfuneral.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will be private.
Calling hours are Wednesday April 7th, from 4-8PM.
