Mrs. Nancy J. Howard 74 a lifelong Medford resident, died Friday April 2, at her home surrounded by her loving family members. She was the wife of the late Thomas Howard. Mrs. Howard was born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Jeannette C. (Peak) Padula. She is a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1953. Mrs. Howard was known as a wonderful cook, she was also a member of the “Spofford” Girls” and was known to make occasional trips to Foxwoods.
She is survived by two daughters: Carol Doherty and her husband Robert, Valerie Wall and her husband Michael and a son, Tom Howard all of Stoneham. Beloved grandmother of Leah, Jenna & Krista Doherty, Michael & Jacqueline Wall. She leaves one great grandson, Thomas Foley. Loving sister of Henry Padula and his wife Mary of Cape Cod and the late William Padula. Friends may call on Monday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, Tuesday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
