Mrs. Cheryl Ann (Ouellette) Poirier, of Taunton, died Thursday, April 1, at her residence following a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of James M. Poirier. She was born 61 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of Paul
Ouellette and the late Geraldine (Souza) Ouellette. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her illness, she had been employed as a scheduler for P.S.A. of Brockton for 9 years. Previously, Mrs. Poirier was occupied
with raising her family. She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, knitting, Japanese bunka, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband and father, both of Taunton, she leaves:
2 sons: Abel Poirier and his wife, Sandra of Taunton
Gideon Poirier of Amsterdam, Holland
1 daughter: Zerin Poirier of Taunton
1 sister: Deborah Garnett and her husband, Gilbert of Bridgewater
2 grandchildren: Autumn Poirier/Bosque of Taunton
Tanner Poirier of Taunton
Her mother-in-law: Lola Poirier of Raynham
several nieces and nephews
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
