Londonderry– Jeanne d'Arc I. (Bourassa) Lord, 83, died March 31, 2010 at St. Teresa Healthcare Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on June 9, 1926 the daughter of Emile and Delia (Michel) Bourassa.
She had been a lifelong resident of the area.
Prior to her retirement she worked in the Amoskeag –Lawrence Mills.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. One of her greatest traits she was known for was her sense of humor.
Family members include her husband of 62 years, Francis E. Lord, one son Fr. Gary Lord both of Londonderry, 2 daughters, Nancy Lord of Londonderry, Lisa Lord– Ireland of Manchester, one sister, Sr. Michelle Marie (Rita Bourassa) PM.
In Her Life: She leaves 3 grandchildren, Lindsay Mason, Elisabeth Mason and Kaitlyn Ireland.
Services: Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
