Obituary

Frederick P. Caggiano, passed away at the Saints Memorial Hospital of Lowell, on Wednesday following a extended illness, the husband of Angelina M. (Chiarello), he was eighty one years old.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Amelia (Santosuosso) and Angelo Caggiano. Fred was raised in East Boston, a graduate of East Boston High School.

He was the General Manager of Mickey Finn´s Clothing in Boston for many years before his retiremnet in 1984. Fred was devoted to his family and work. During his retirement he loved to play Golf and be with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Winchester Lodge of the Son´s of Italy

During World War II, Fred served in the US Army as a motorcycle courier, where he was injured in Germany, he returned home in 1946 after four years of service. Fred settled in No. Cambridge and in 1954 made his home with his wife Angelina in Woburn.

In adition to his wife Angelina he is survived by his son Michael F. and his wife Laurie of Peabody, his two daughters; Doreen A. Flowers and her husband Anthony of Woburn and Janet L. Caggiano of California. Four loving grandchildren Jonathan and Jennifer Flowers, David and Monica Caggiano. One brother Anthony Caggiano of Melrose. He was predeceased by his sister Ann Colarusso.

His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Saturday, October 18, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 11. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home on Friday, October 17, from 4 thru 8.
