Davis, Verna Frances Skaggs, 93, of Louisville passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Georgetown Manor.
Verna was a homemaker and a member of Zion United Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Davis and daughter, Betty Davis.
Verna is survived by her daughter, Ramona Evelyn Hayes (Laymon); sister, Virgia DeWeese; grandchildren, Dale Hayes and Robin Hitsman (Chuck); great-grandchildren, Brandon Howard, Bethany Hardesty, Drew Hayes and Brittany, Kayla, Matthew Hitsman; great-great-granchild, Stella Hardesty; and special neighbors, Joe and Cathy Hoover and Opal and Lawerence Edlin.
Funeral service will be 11am on Friday at Zion United Baptist Church, 7436 Ralston Avenue, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West.
Visitation will be from 5pm-9pm on Wednesday and from 12pm-8pm on Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
