WORCESTER-Alexander J. Lute, 86, formerly of 42 Lakeside Avenue and Cherry Valley, died Wednesday, October 15th in U-Mass Memorial Healthcare-Memorial Campus after an illness. He leaves a sister, Mary Casavant of Natick, several nephews and nieces including Lorna J. Tardif of Milford and Catherine Hale of Natick. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony Lute and a sister Helen Searcy.
He was born in Athol, the son of Charles and Beatrice (Juknevich) Lute. Mr. Lute was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Vernon Hill Post 435 American Legion.
The funeral service will be Friday, October 17th at 12:00 Noon in O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick. A calling hour will be held from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 15th in the funeral home.
