William C. Gustafson, Jr., 83, passed away March 8, 2010 in Ocala, Florida after a lengthy illness. Bill was the husband of Joyce E. (Miller) Gustafson and lived in Johnston until 2006 when he retired to Ocala. He was the former owner of Master Cleaners in Smithfield and North Providence and a Korean Army veteran.
Born in Warwick, William was the son of the late William and Laura (Devaney) Gustafson. He is survived by one son, William C. Gustafson III, and three daughters, Gayle Pichierri, Janet Hoffmaster and Laurie Gustafson, three grandchildren, Kristin, Morgan and David and two sisters, Ethel Stanley and Myrtle Idone, a niece and three nephews. Bill was the brother of the late Doris Steinle.
A Celebration of his life will be held at Anderson Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.on April 17, 2010 at 9:00 a.m., with interment at the Veterans Cemetery. For messages of condolence and directions, visit andersonwinfield.net
