Reginalda “Jenny” Cartolano, of Medford, formerly of Boston’s West End died Wednesday at the Tuell Nursing Home in Melrose. She was 85.
Jenny was the daughter of the late Rosario and the late Rose (Russo) Cartolano. Born and raised in the West End, Jenny lived in Medford for nearly 30 years and had previously lived in Somerville. She worked at the Massachusetts General Hospital for many years before her retirement.
She was a beloved sister to Francis Cartolano of Weymouth, the late Mary Piscatelli, Frances Falino, Domenic Cartolano and Virginia Joyce. She was a dear sister-in-law to Pat Falino of Medford and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, March 29th at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
