Antonette Marcella, 92 of Medford, died Friday unexpectedly in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, she was raised in East Boston and lived in Medford for the past 57 years. She was the daughter of the late Amalia (Luongo) and Marino Luongo.
Antonette was a Cafeteria Worker, at Medford High School for 25 years and retired in 1988. She was a member of the Medford Republican City Committee and former Ward Treasurer of the Republican City Committee.
Beloved wife of the late Louis Marcella. Devoted mother of Judith and Michael Marcella both of Medford. Sister of Alfred Luongo, Grace Zuccaro, Helen Pellecchia all of East Boston, George Luongo of South Boston, Frank Luongo of Florida and the late Carmela Luongo. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
