Grace A. (Capobianco) Magliaro, 84 of Medway died March 25 in her home following a long illness; she was the wife of Alfonso H. "Fonz" Magliaro for the past 64 years, Mr. Magliaro died just one day before his wife.
Born in Boston, January 29, 1926, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Gelsomina (Capobianco) Capobianco, Mrs. Magliaro was raised in Boston and had lived in West Roxbury for many years before moving to Medway in 1975.
Mrs. Magliaro had worked as an assistant librarian at the Medway Library for many years.
Mrs. Magliaro’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her.
She is survived by her son Allen J. Magliaro and his wife Sheila of Upton, her grandchildren, Christopher Magliaro and his wife Tiffany and David Magliaro and his wife Tonia.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ayden, Isabella, Joseph, Ethan, Oliver and Sophia.
She is also survived by her sister Rose South of Albuquerque, New Mexico and was the sister of the late Anthony and Joseph Capobianco and Palmina Simmons and Gelsomina Simonelli.
Her funeral along with her husband’s will be held on Tuesday, March 30 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
