Irene R. (Riley) Maranda, 84, of Manchester, died March 25, 2010. She was born in Manchester July 4, 1925, and was the daughter of John and Lea (Beaudin) Riley.
She had been a parishioner of St. Pius X church. For many years Irene worked for Seal Tanning, and later for over 15 years she worked in housekeeping at the Elliot Hospital. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing to some of her favorite country tunes.
Family members include; 2 daughters, Lea J. Key, Alice E. Cote, both of Manchester; a son John N. Maranda, of Manchester; 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchild.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Norman, who died in 1997.
A funeral liturgy was celebrated on Monday, March 29, 2010 in the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
