Obituary

WORCESTER: Anne D. (Tagman) Buckley, 90, of 70 Anderson Ave., died Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Saint Vincent Hospital.Her husband of 60 years William C. Buckley died in 1998. She leaves a son, James F. Buckley of Hyde Park, NY; two daughters, Patricia A. Buckley and Marilyn R. Buckley, both of Worcester; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Five brothers and five sisters predeceased her.She was born in Worcester, daughter of Frank and Casimira (Tolvaisius) Tagman, and lived here all of her life. Mrs. Buckley was a graduate of the former Classical High School. Many years ago she worked as a floor lady for several years at David Clark Company. Mrs. Buckley was a long time member of St. Casimir Parish, and had been a member of its choir. She was a member of Council 26, Knights of Lithuania and The Lithuanian Charitable Society. She had also been a member of The Guild of Our Lady of Providence. Mrs. Buckley was a Volunteer at Girl’s Inc. Winthrop House for more than thirty years, and was also a volunteer at St. Casimir School for twelve years.Her funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the funeral home. The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations be made instead to The Mercy Centre, 25 West Chester St., Worcester, MA 01605 OR to The Adult Day Health Program of Seven Hills Foundation, 81 Hope Avenue, Worcester, MA 01603.
