Frier.of Jacksonville, FL. Also preceded in death by his sons, Steven M. Ballard and Walton "Barry" E. Ballard, III He is survived by his son Douglas W. Ballard, DAV of Port Allen LA , his daughter Robin Ballard and son-in law, John Bates of Hyde Park. Also survived by his grandchildren Jacqueline Ballard Young of Hope Mills, NC and Walton E. Ballard IV of Madison WI and his Great Grandchildren Ethan and Michaela Young. of Hope Mills, NC and his Daughter in law Christine Ballard, of Sturgis South Dakota He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews all of whom had a special place in his heart.
