Abington – Natalie J. (Beverley) Green 80, died Monday March 22 after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald L. Green.
Born in Boston and raised in Randolph she was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Mildred (Crockett) Beverley and a graduate of Randolph High School class of 1946.
Natalie was a long time employee in the accounting department of the New England Telephone Company of Braintree.
She was a fifty year resident of Abington before her move to Matfield Woods in West Bridgewater where she resided for five years.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Whitman, the Eastern Star Pilgrim Order Chapter 89, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing POGO on her computer and was an avid card player. However her greatest joy came from the time spent with her many grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Beverley Maloney of Abington, Betty Walsh of Brockton, Bryan Green of AZ, Daniel Green of CT, and Allan and Scott Green both of CO, her brother Barry Beverley of Brockton and her sister Janice Derosier of Kingston. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Valerie Elsmore.
Her funeral service will be held Monday March 29 at 11 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will be held at a later date. Visiting hours will be held Sunday March 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
