Obituary

Antonio R. Carnevale, 78, of MacArthur Drive, a retired elevator mechanic for Local 41, and the former Local 47, died Saturday at his home. He was the husband of the late Pamela (Hawes) Carnevale.

Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Antonio and Angela (Marchetti) Carnevale. He had been a resident of Smithfield for six years. He had previously lived in Kingman, AZ, Burrillville and Cranston. He was a Navy Veteran and a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal (Europe)

He is survived by his children, Anthony Carnevale of Scituate, Michael Carnevale of Glocester, David Carnevale of Burrillville, Kenneth Carnevele of Danielson, Bobbie-Jo Sullivan of Smithfield, with whom he lived and Wayne Burkett, of Johnston, his 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his siblings; Gerald Carnevale of Cranston, Ann Smith of Warwick, and Robert Carnevale of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Mary Colagiacomo and Thomas Carnevale.

A Requiem Eucharist to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, April 10th at 10am in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, PO Box 505, Greenville, RI 02828.
