Constance F. (Laferriere) Sullivan, 62 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Sunday evening at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late Lawrence “Larry” Sullivan who died in November of 2004.
Born in Lowell on June 2, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Lionel and Lillian (Theriault) Laferriere and received her education in the Lowell schools.
For many years, Constance worked as an assembler for the former Wang Laboratories in Tewksbury. Mrs. Sullivan was also the former manager of the Lowell Firefighters Club in Lowell. She loved to travel and was especially fond of and loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Shannon Laferriere of Clinton; two step-daughters, Mary Beth Kotsonas and her husband Nicholas of Hudson, NH and Lisa Sullivan and her fiancé Justin Coppola of Saugus; a step son, Larry Sullivan of Nashua,NH; three grandchildren, Larry Sullivan, Nicholas Kotsonas and Keston Kotsonas; four sisters, Jacqueline Gauthier of Lowell, Lorraine Mellen of Dracut, Claudette Silva of Dracut and Jeannine Dusombre of Stoneham; two brothers, Robert Laferriere and his wife Joanne of Meredith,NH and Maurice Laferriere of New Jersey; a brother in law, Michael Sullivan and his wife Mary Gail of Dracut; a sister in law, Raeann Rondeau and her husband Ron of Hudson, NH and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
SULLIVAN- Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, March 25, from 4 until 8 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH ST.(Rte.38). Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 26 at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Church (Lower Church). Cremation to follow.
