Obituary

LAWRENCE – Rita R. Breton 88 of Lawrence died peacefully on Friday March 19, 2010 at the Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Madison, Maine, she was the daughter of James and Rose (Poirier) Breton. She attended schools in Maine and also Lawrence, MA. She owned and operated Breton’s Variety Store in Methuen, also worked for Western Electric in North Andover, and for 20 years was a nurse’s aide at the Town Manor Nursing Home in Lawrence, retiring in 1984, and was a selfless caregiver to all.

She is survived by her sister Annette Rheault and her husband Robert of Lawrence, MA.
Nieces and nephews Anne Keating of Dracut, MA, Robert Godreau and his wife Michele of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Karen Tremblay and her husband James of Methuen, MA and Richard Rheault and his wife Barbara also of Methuen, MA.
Rita is also survived by special grand-nephews Tyler and Alex Rheault and also several grand-nephews and a grand-niece.

ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of the family there are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday March 23, 2010 at 10:00a.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery, 130 North Lowell Street Methuen, MA.
