Hilda B. (Thibodeau) Perry, 88, of Methuen, died peacefully after a brief illness on March 14, 2010. Hilda was born in Grand Isle, ME. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Modeste Thibodeau. Hilda moved to the Lawrence area as a child and she was among the first graduating class of St. Anne’s High School. She spent her life as a homemaker and spent many winters in Florida.
Hilda is predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Perry in 1976. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Nicholson and her husband Robert of Salem, NH and a son, Kenneth Perry and his wife Shirley of Hampstead, NH, three grandchildren, Tracey Doiron and her husband Kurt of Milton, MA, Tricia Nicholson of Fitchburg and Eric Perry and his family of Methuen, and several nieces and nephews. Hilda was a kind and loving person and she will be dearly missed by all of her family.
Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, March 22nd, 2010 at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Derry Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 20 Chester Rd, Derry, NH 03038.
