Irene M. (O'Neill) Piette 84, of Woonsocket died Tuesday at home. She was the wife of Oliver W. Piette. Mrs. Piette was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Patrick and Esther (Brophy) O'Neill. She was a 1943 graduate of Woonsocket High School. Mrs. Piette was office manager and bookkeeper at Handicraft Woolen, Nadeau Looms, and P.P.G. Industries retiring in 1975.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons Donald F. Piette of Andover, MA, and David M. Piette of Glendale, RI, a daughter Barbara A. Piette-Lovett of Cambridge, MA and four grandchildren, Timothy and Jennifer Piette, and Zachary and Esther Lovett.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone, MA. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
