WEBSTER - Elizabeth (Tanca) Mitro, 80, formerly of Webster, died Friday, March 12, at her home in Indian Land, SC.
She leaves a son, George P. Mitro of Brooksville, FL; 2 daughters. Christine M. Velez and Debra S. Berthiaume and her husband Guy, all of Indian Land; 2 brothers, Christopher Tanca of Dudley and Vanghel Tanca of Hollywood, FL; a sister, Ernestine Rucho of Matthews, NC; 8 grandchildren, Laura and Joshua Mitro, Lisa and Kevin Pearson, Jason and Sasha Berthiaume, and Marissa and Derek Velez; a great grandson, Jason Berthiaume, Jr.; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Friday, March 19, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a service at 10:00 AM in Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 35 Lake Parkway. Burial will be in West Thompson Cemetery, Thompson, CT. Calling hours will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday, March 18, in the funeral home, with a Trisagion service at 8:30 PM.
