
In Hyannis, March 15, 2010 Theresa (Brady) Palazesi died at Cape Cod hospital at the age of 85. A lifelong resident of Taunton. She was born on Feb 5th 1925 to P. Leo and Theresa M. (Barry) Brady. Wife of the late Leni James Palazesi Sr. for fifty six years. She was very proud of her “Irish heritage” and her dual citizenship to the Republic of Ireland, to which she traveled most summers. She enjoyed her library of book dating back to the early 1800’s on the culture and history of Ireland. Her time spent on Cape Cod was her second love. She is survived by her children Lynn B. Bernard of Marston Mills and Sanibel, FL, Darby Ziruk and her husband Damien of East Dennis Leni Palazesi Jr. and his wife Diane of East Sandwich and Gretchen Dulgarian and her husband Kenneth of Providence and North Falmouth. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, Nicole and Pete Dawes of Chatham, Rory Kelly of East Dennis, Emily, James, Grace and Liza Palazesi of East Sandwich, Madison, Morgan and Harrison Dulgarian of Providence and North Falmouth. Great grandchildren Stephen and Benjamin Dawes of Chatham and Riley Kelley of East Dennis. She is survived by her siblings James Brady, Robert Brady, Thomas Brady and Paul Brady all of Taunton. Theresa was the past president of the Morton Hospital Auxiliary from 1968-1970, Chairman of Morton Hospital Charily Ball, a great social event. Past President of Junior Woman’s Club of Taunton 1961-1962. Sponsor of the Taunton Public Library. Taunton Woman’s Guild, Chairperson of the “Great Decisions”, a foreign affair discussion group. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Taunton. Her fine collection of antiques was another of her many passions. A collection of Russian Lacquer Boxes, Irish Waterford and perfume bottles were a special feature of her home. In your prayers please remember her parents P. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Taunton on Friday at 11 am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
