Lawrence: Mr. Kenneth A. Purcell, 49 of Lawrence died Saturday, at Merrimack Valley Hospital. Born in Lowell, Mr. Purcell had been an area resident all his life. He was a member of the Concordia Club where he enjoyed playing Santa Clause every year for disabled children. Mr. Purcell was always willing to help anyone in need. He is pre-deceased by his brother Steven E. Purcell. Mr. Purcell is survived by:

his parents Edward and Cecile Purcell of Lawrence
1 Brother: Glenn M. Purcell and his wife Diane O., of Lawrence

his wife Gloria J. Purcell of Lawrence
and several aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 256 Broadway, Lawrence. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home., www.racicotfuneralhome.com
