Paul A. Carrara 30, of Quincy, and a former longtime resident of Franklin, died Saturday March 13, 2010 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla.
Born in Toledo, Ohio July 18, 1979 a son of Marilyn P. (Price) Carrara of Millis and Enzo Carrara of Bellingham, he had lived in Ohio, for many years before moving to Franklin.
He was educated in Franklin schools, and was an outstanding athlete at Franklin High School where he played on the football & basketball teams. He furthered his education at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.
Paul was working as an accountant for the WorkingGear Company in Weymouth.
His interests included all sports, being outdoors and camping.
In addition to his father & mother he is survived by a brother Kristopher E. Carrara and his wife Cathy of Franklin, his paternal grandmother Nella Carrara of Framingham, his maternal grandparents Jack & Jo-Ann Price of South Carolina, his aunts Carolyn Best of South Carolina, Anna Martino of Uxbridge, Lucia Johnston of Westborough and his girlfriend Sarah Couture of Brockton. Also surviving is a nephew Aiden Carrara and niece Sofia Carrara.
He was the grandson of the late Sante Carrara.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday March 18th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, (www.oterifuneralhome.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
