William E. “Billy” Schiff, 58 , of Salem died peacefully at his home Wed., March 11th surrounded by his beloved companion of 38 years, Mary and his adoring cat Nosey.
Billy was raised and educated in Blackwood, NJ later moving to New Hampshire for the remainder of his life.
A man of diverse talents Billy wrestled throughout his high school and college years, winning many district titles. Billy's pride and joy was working as an equestrian. Throughout his life, he broke some of the most dangerous yearlings in the state of New Jersey. Billy worked in construction in New England.
Billy enjoyed a good laugh and was always finding a new "victim" for his practical jokes. You always had a good time in his company. He was predeceased by his brother Alan Schiff.

His life's companion Mary Cullen, son William Cullen of Asbury Park, NJ, mother-in-law Dottie Cullen of Vineland, NJ, sisters Jeannie and her husband Ron Kurtz of North Wildwood, NJ and Kathleen Rich of Las Vegas, NV, neice Melissa Kurtz and nephew Robert Coleman and great nephew Aiden Coleman.
A Memorial Service is Mon. March 15th at 1:30PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary may be sent to the funeral home.
