In Taunton, March 10, 2010 Elvira M. (DelSolio) Motta died at Morton Hospital in Taunton at the age of 101. Elvira was the wife of the late Giacoma P. Fasciolo and Joseph Motta. Born in educated in Taunton, Elvira was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Bisio) DelSolio. She was retired from Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton and also worked at Texas Instruments in Attleboro and the former Pearl Works in Hanover. On her 100th birthday Mayor Crowley and Senator Pacheco presented her with a plaque for being 100 years old. She also received a certificate from President Obama for being 101 years old. Elvira enjoyed making many afghans to all her family and enjoyed gardening. She was the mother of Evelyn A. Hamel of East Taunton and the late Madeline LaRocque. Grandmother of Sandra Seekell, Mark Seekell, Jane Remedis all of Taunton, John C. Seekell of Conway N.H., Donna MacDonald of Attleboro, Cynthia Ebling and Paula Zadina both of R.I..Great Grandmother of twelve, Great Great Grandmother of six and the late James P. Seekell and Jeffrey Scott Seekell. Elvira loved spending time with her pride and joy Kylee Joyce Remedis. Sister of the late Peter DelSolio, Joseph DelSolio, Raymond DelSolio, Louis DelSolio, Anna Mitchke and Vickey Deniz. Sister In-Law of Pauline DelSolio and Aunt of several Nieces and Nephews. A graveside service was held on Saturday March 13th at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Arrangements by the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
