Obituary

WORCESTER__ Victoria Joan (Jacewicz) Siemaszko, 89, of Worcester died Friday, March 12, 2010, after a brief illness. She leaves her husband of 61 years, Joseph D. Siemaszko; a daughter, Marsha A. (Siemaszko) Bombard and her husband, Paul M. Bombard of Avon, CT; three grandchildren, Michael, Gregory, and Kathryn Bombard; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Joan Murphy and a brother, Stanley Jacewicz. Victoria was born in Worcester, the daughter of Adam and Tekla (Pietrewicz) Jacewicz.
A member of the Garment Workers’ Union, “Vicky” worked in the clothing industry for many years, retiring from Cottage Tailor in Worcester in 1982. She was a communicant and lifelong member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, and attended St. Mary’s School.
The family gratefully acknowledges the services and care of the team from Overlook Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Services of Charlton, MA.
The funeral will be held on Monday, March 15, from HENRY - DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, March 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
