WORCESTER___Ann Marie (Coffey) Blondin, 87, of Worcester, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Beaumont Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center, 378 Plantation St. Her husband of 44 years, Paul A. Blondin died in 2004. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William P. and Anna V. (Neven) Coffey.
She leaves a sister-in-law, Bridget M. Coffey of Enfield, CT., five nieces, Brenda Sizer and her husband Jeffrey of Somers, CT., Maureen Hession and her husband Kevin of Sutton; Sharon Hogan and her husband Vincent of East Berlin, CT., Karen Phillips and her husband William of Enfield, CT., and Ann Marie Perez and her husband Michael of Windsor Locks, CT., eleven great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, William M. Coffey.
Mrs. Blondin worked for many years at Lawless Cadillac. She was a graduate of St. Stephen's High School class of 1940. Ann Marie was a member of St. Stephen Church. Her passions in life were music, dance and travel. She loved her dog, Fluffy and her cat, Sammy.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Ann Marie's doctors and the staff of Beaumont Nursing Center for the care given to her. In addition, a special thanks to Sandy and Doug Cate.
The funeral will be held on Monday, March 15 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, with a Mass at 11:30 A.M. in St. Stephen Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, March 14 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
