TEWKSBURY - Robert J. Campbell, 75, a resident of Tewksbury for the last four decades, diedThursday evening, Oct. 9, at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in North Billerica, after along period of declining health. He was the husband of Louise A. (Caggiano) Campbell, withwhom he had celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary this past Dec. 23rd.
He was born in Boston, Jan. 12, 1928, the son of Anna Campbell. He was raised in Everett, buthad lived in Tewksbury since 1957.
During WWII he served in the Coast Guard. He re-enlisted into the Air Force during the KoreanWar, and was discharged as a disabled veteran in 1954.
He was employed as an electrician by Raytheon at the West Andover and Shawsheenmanufacturing facilities.
He was a communicant of St. William’s Church, a member of the D.A.V. Post 110 in Tewksbury,and the K of C, Council 4336 in Tewksbury.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and her husband DavidTaylor of West Palm Beach, FL, Kathleen and her husband Phillip D’Agostino of Wilmington;and 4 grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Taylor, Nicole and Christopher D’Agostino.
His Funeral Mass was be held Tuesday, Oct. 14 in St. William’s Church. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
