Mr. Clayton Aubrey Bryant, age 66, of Mount Airy passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Bryant was born in Surry County on October 7, 1943 to the late Daniel and Arvada “Vena” Hunt Bryant. Mr. Bryant worked as a night watchman and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Bryant. is survived by his loving wife, Christine Bryant of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Loretta Lynn B. and Alan Boyles of King; three grandchildren, Amanda (Travis) Jones, Christy Boyles and Heather Boyles; one brother Omar Bryant of Pilot Mountain; two sisters, Geneva Stewart and Fleta Myers both of Pilot Mountain. Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Clayton Wayne Bryant and two brothers, Odell and Arlis Bryant. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Friendly Chapel Church at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Don Collins officiating with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
