Richard A. Mello, Jr., age 35 of Fall River, passed away March 7, 2010. He was the son of David and Carolyn (Arruda) Machado and Richard A. Mello.
Besides his parents, he is survived by 3 children: David Owens and Jacob Mello both of Fall River, and Madison Mello of North Carolina. 2 siblings: Annmarie Mello Furtado of Seekonk, MA, Daniel Mello of Texas and a deceased brother William Mello. Loving held in Richard’s heart are Dana, Devan Byrd and Kyle Mello. Richard was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed time with his children, friends, and family.
Following cremation, relatives & friends are invited to attend Richard’s funeral mass on Monday at 9:00 A.M. in SS. Peter & Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport. There Are No Calling Hours. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to Catholic Memorial Home or Beacon Hospice in Richard’s memory. Arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA.
