William “Monroe” Reliford, Sr., age 64, of Pearson, GA, died on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Reliford was the son of the late Clarence William and Willie Mae Harrell Reliford. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Wesley Chapel Church with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. The family provided several taped songs “Go Rest High On That Mountain”, “Open Windows”, “That’s My Job” for the music. Interment followed in the Royals Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Shannon Adair, Brandon Reliford, Christopher Reliford, Timothy Branch, Brian Graham, William Adair, Matthew McCarty and Robby Stone. Reliford (Sherlyn Costa) Shelbyville, TN, Benjamin (Tenise) Monroe Reliford, Douglas, GA, James (Jocklen) William Reliford, Fitzgerald, GA, William Monroe (Lyn Parks) Reliford, Jr., Douglas, GA and George William Reliford, Douglas, GA. 66 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; brothers: Lonnie (Marve) Reliford, Douglas, GA, Tony Reliford, Broxton, GA, Bill Reliford, Douglas, GA, Benny (Leslie) Reliford, Pearson, GA and sisters Mary (Bobby) Stone, Pearson, GA and Linda (Robert) Stone, Lakeland, GA; several niece and nephews.
