New Bedford-Cidalia Da Silva age 93 years died Tuesday at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Manuel G. Da Silva. Cidalia was the loved mother of Fatima Pacheco of Acushnet, Cidalia Silva of New Bedford; the late Maria Fatima Da Silva and Victor Da Silva. Mrs. Da Silva is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Mrs. Da Silva was the daughter of the late Maria Coracao (Jesus) and Manuel Goncalves Lima. Cidalia was born in Pico Açores and has lived in this area since 1961. She was a trimmer with Paul Mode Dress Mfg. until her retirement.
Mrs. Da Silva’s Funeral will be Friday at 8 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St., with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
