Obituary

NORTH ANDOVER—Theresa H. (Höfle) Reilly, died Tuesday morning at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, after a brief battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Peter W. Reilly, who died in 1989.

She was born in Munich, Germany, on January 12, 1937, a daughter of Theresa M. (Sagmeister) Höfle, who resides in Munich, and the late Johann Höfle. She was educated in Germany and came to Lowell in the mid 1950’s.

Mrs. Reilly was a self employed artist/designer. She was a past president of the Paint and Powder Club, and held membership in the Lowell Garden Club. She was an active volunteer for many years for the Lowell Association for the Blind.

Surviving her besides her mother are two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Ellen and Sean Murphy, and Tina and Dave Couillard, all of North Andover; two grandsons: Cameron and Collin Couillard, also several aunts and uncles in Germany.

She was the mother of the late Elizabeth T. Reilly, who died in 1981.

Friends may call from 5 until 8 PM on Friday, October 10th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38), Lowell. Her Funeral Mass to be offered Saturday morning, October 11th, at 10:30 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
