Margaret L. Larson (Law), 92, of North Andover, died Tuesday March 2nd, 2010 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Margaret was born in Lawrence and raised and educated in North Andover. She was a graduate of Johnson High in North Andover. Margaret worked as a clerk with Treat Hardware, formerly of Lawrence for many years until her retirement. She was a devoted and dedicated member of First-Calvary Baptist Church of North Andover where she was a member of the Junior Willing Workers and the Woman’s Federation. She also volunteered her time as a Sunday School Teacher. Margaret enjoyed swimming, knitting and reading in her spare time. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the country with her loving husband of 46 years, Raymond Larson, prior to his passing.
Margaret leaves her two sons, Robert Larson and his wife Marilyn of Groveland, MA and Bruce Larson and his wife Julia of Sammamish, WA, 4 grandchildren, Robert and his wife Carrie Larson, Andrew Larson, Katherine Larson and Heather Margaret Larson and one great-granddaughter, Claire Maisie Larson.
Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 5th, 2010 at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Memorial Service will held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the First-Calvary Baptist Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will be held privately at Ridgewood Cemetery.
