Obituary

Thomas “Tim” Robert Berry III died unexpectedly on February 28th at the age of 62. Beloved son of the late Thomas R. Berry Jr. and Theresa F. (MacDonald), brother of Michael of Halifax, Buck of Pembroke, Mary Sanderson of Kingston, David of Carver and Kevin of Kingston. Devoted uncle to 24 nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Walter Berry. Tim graduated from the Perkins School for the Blind in 1968 and retired from the Harvard Club of Boston after 34 years of dedicated service. He was an avid sports fan and a season ticket holder of the Harvard Hockey and the Boston Bruins. Tim was considered the unofficial mayor of Rocky Nook in Kingston where he was a member of the Rocky Nook and Brewster Park Beach Association. He was also the Grand Marshall of the annual 4th of July Horrible Parade for over 50 years. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday March 6th at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth at 10 AM followed by burial at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Visiting hours will be held on Friday March 5th from 4 to 8 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St, Watertown, MA 02472.
