Roscoe Harper, age 79, of Ambrose GA, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at home of his daughter. Mr. Harper, a native of Coffee County, GA was born March 15, 1930: he is the son of the late Mitchell & Mattie Paulk Harper. He is a member of the Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include: Wife, Ludell Harper, Daughters, Robbie (Lamar) Merritt & Cindy (Stephen) Burt, Ambrose GA, Sandra (Dennie) Taylor, Waycross GA, Marie (Monroe) Mckinnon, Mora GA, Elecia (D. W.) Harper, Ocilla GA, Patsy (Glenn) Lott, Wray GA, Sons, Gerald (Dorothy), Riley (Mary) Harper & Lamar (Brenda) Harper, Ambrose GA, Sisters, Dorothy Bass, & Bonnie (Sherrill) Tucker, Ambrose GA, Brother, Denzel(Rita) Harper, Douglas GA, 18 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren & 6 Step Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, at Mount Union Primitive Baptist Church with Burial in the Elam Harper Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, Calling hours are 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
