Jonnie Lee Chaney, age 35, of Douglas, passed away on, Sunday, February 14, 2010, at his home following a brief illness. Survivors include: wife: Tammy Alesia Chaney, Douglas, GA; 3 sons: Jacob Lee Chaney, Cameron Ellis Chaney and Kody Tyler Chaney, Douglas, GA; stepson: Mitchell Allen Meeks, Douglas, GA; 3 brothers: Wilson (Kathy) Chaney, Ronnie (Becky) Chaney, Douglas, GA; Donnie (Cathy) Chaney, Pearson, GA; Sister: Tonnie Merritt, Douglas, GA; Grandmother, Maude Carter, Waycross, GA, special nephew: Gary Dewayne Merritt, Douglas, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 with interment following in the Salem Holiness Church Cemetery.
