Willie “Bill” Clements, Jr., age 82, of Douglas GA passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at home following a brief illness. Mr. Clements a native of Coffee County, GA was born October 15, 1927: he is the son of the late Willie Ashley, Sr. & Isabelle Claude Kight Clements. He is a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Douglas GA & a retired Policeman with the City of Douglas GA. Survivors include: Wife, Evelyn Williams Clements, Sons, Willie Donald(Elsie) Clements, Newberg OR & Rev. Gary Ashley (Shanda) Clements, West Green GA, Daughters, Joyce L (Hal) Barnwell & Angelia Denise Waldron, Douglas GA Nine Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren & one great-great grand-child, Sister, Estelle Hutto, Douglas GA, Special niece, Evelyn (Earlie) Royal, Savannah GA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Eastside Baptist Church with Burial in the Douglas City Cemetery. The Family will be receiving friends at Sims Funeral Home on Wednesday, Calling hours are: 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
