Mrs. Dorothy A. Guilfoyle, age 92 of Medford died Monday in the Meadow Green Nursing Center Waltham. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank T. Guilfoyle. Mrs. Guilfoyle was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Bruno W. and the late Annie (Sullivan) Eckhardt. She was raised and educated in Charlestown where she met her husband and then moved to Medford.
She worked in the banking industry as both a teller and an administrative assistant. During her career she worked in several banks including the Harbor National Bank on Franklin St. in Boston. She was a proud life member of the Medford Boat Club and in earlier years volunteered her time as a Brownie Den Mother, she was also an avid tennis player, a member of St. Raphael’s Sodality and of St. Joseph’s Mother’s Club. She is survived by three daughters: Judy A. Beatrice of Medford, Dorothy A. Bolton and her husband Jerry of Medford, JoAnne Guilfoyle and her husband Hank Pasterczyk of TX. and a son, Frank T. Guilfoyle, III and his wife Pat of MI. Mother of the late Diane M. Guilfoyle. Beloved grandmother of Sandra Guilfoyle, Lisa Luczak, Frank T. Guilfoyle IV, Kara J. Bolton and Max Pasterczyk. Great grandmother of 4 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Elizabeth Crescenti of CA. and late Helen Howley. Friends may call Thursday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday March 5, at 10:00 AM in St. Raphael Church 512 High Street, Medford. Burial will be follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
