Marjorie v. Crowley, age 92, of Lexington formerly of Woburn passed away February 27th following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Crowley who passed away in 1995. Born in Woburn she was the daughter of the late James E. and Mary V. (Brady) Hayes.
Mrs. Crowley was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn Memorial High School. She has lived in Lexington for over fifty years. Together with her husband, they owned and operated the Crowley Door Co. of Watertown. She worked along side her husband for over twenty years as the bookkeeper of their business. Mostly devoted to her family she cherished spending time with her loving grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Crowley is predeceased by her brothers, the late James and Walter Hayes. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Pamela Crowley-Evans and her husband Andrew C. Evans of Lexington. She was the loving grandmother of Joshua P. Evans and Jessica L. Evans both of Lexington. Cherished aunt of Thomas Hayes of CT, Walter Hayes of CA, Margaret Ann Hayes and Susan Steiner both of Woburn.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Friday, March 5th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Brigid Church, 1979 Mass Ave, Lexington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
