Vivian R. (Rowland) Patenaude, 82, of Village Road, died Friday in Landmark Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Roland Patenaude. Mrs. Patenaude was born in Troy, NY, a daughter of the late Elliott and Anna (Wortz) Rowland. She was a registered nurse in Kent County Hospital for many years retiring in 1980. Her passion in life however, was as a missionary nurse in Haiti from 1993-1997.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons; Robert Patenaude of Coventry, and Gregg McComiskey of Conway, NH, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister, Dora Homan of Newburg, NY.
